Cass Innovate 2019
The Bayes Innovate conference is back on Wednesday 13 November 2019, bringing together about 200 delegates to discuss key questions for businesses looking to scale up:
- What’s one key mistake that CEOs need to avoid when scaling up their business?
- How do you attract and retain talent to help you grow your business?
- Are you planning to sell or go public?
The ambition for startup entrepreneurs is to grow their business. Yet research shows fewer than 3% of start-ups survive for a decade. The problem is not the volume of entrepreneurial activity, but the ability to turn that activity into high-growth scale-ups.
This year Bayes Innovate is all about bringing academics, entrepreneurs and practitioners to discuss the challenges and opportunities scaling up businesses.
Through a variety of talks, workshops and panel discussions, the conference will expose delegates to best innovation practices, successful entrepreneurship stories and leading research. It will also provide extensive and diverse opportunities for networking with a wide range of entrepreneurs, experts and decision makers.
Speakers will include Dr Aneesh Banerjee, Lecturer in Technology, Innovation and Strategy at Bayes Business School and Programme Director for the online Global MBA.
Also speaking at the event is Professor Barbara Casu Lukac, Professor of Finance and Director of Research of the Centre for Banking Research at Bayes Business School and a Module Leader for the online MSc in Global Finance.
